Multitasking in Norway
Sunday 10th of May, this year’s big event in Norwegian horseracing took place at Bjerke Racetrack in Oslo.
Participants from all over Europe came to claim the big winner’s price and glory in Oslo Grand Prix, one of 13 races in the European Grand Circuit of trotting. Mediatec Broadcast Norway handled the world feed, as well as the feed for the national broadcaster NRK, Rikstoto Direkte (Horseracing channel) and the production for the closed circuit arena TV.
It comprised the use of 17 cabled cameras, 5 wireless systems and a wirecam system which run a full 400 meter alongside the finish stretch. We had some great help from our partners in Mediatec Group, including the wireless and special camera department, Massteknik and Media Netwerk.
At the same time at our facilities at Bjerke we served 7 broadcast channels through our MCR, CR1 and CR6.
A mix of our SNG´s and fiber networks contributed all this signals.
Here is a list of customers served at the same time this day.

CANAL+ SPORT 2 (Serie A off tube commentator)
