Grass Valley K2

K2 lets users perform all video and audio I/O using built-in encoders and decoders. It is built around a robust computer platform, features redundant hot-swappable power supply, mirrored system drives, redundant Ethernet ports and extra cooling as standard. In the event of failure, two iSCI or Fibre Channel ports on the client switch to a backup data path. K2 is file based, IT-centric, scalable and has a RAID protected storage and delivery system. It also supports expansion of channels while online and non-destructive expansion of storage for more hours or bandwidth.
