For the past ten years, Primetec, part of Mediatec Group, has been supplying complete event and personnel solutions for Volvo Cars’ press conferences.
On August 26, 2008, Volvo XC60 was promoted in Moscow. Primetec managed the event with a team of no more than ten people. This in itself is unique. Other suppliers usually need up to 25 people to handle similar events. The secret is skills and meticulous planning. Team members don’t have just one task to fulfill, but several ones each.
Every team member is well aware of the different aspects of the event. Thus everyone can contribute, with ideas as well as with creative problem solving. There’s always a back-up plan for unforeseen occurences.
The Moscow assignment included images, lighting, sound, motors and all rig equipment.
