Traffic and roadside information systems
LED technology is a flexible alternative to today’s fixed advertising billboards and its use is developing rapidly. Mediatec supply LED screens for the display of traffic information and advertising messages. Our screens are supported by TecViz TRAFFIC, our powerful system for the management of digital signage. Information to be shown is scheduled through digital messages from any required location. Mediatec carry out this service for a number of clients, however, should clients wish to manage this themselves, we offer education in how to do so.
Operational continuity is important in the case of roadside signage. That’s why we invested a lot of effort into creating secure, reliable systems. We have strived to make communication to and from the sign secure as well as ensuring the current in the sign is stable. When it comes to control, we can carry out almost every task remotely.
Mediatec recommend that these screens are complimented with camera overview. This will allow a clear view of screen status as well as allowing the viewer to see that the correct information is being displayed.
