2009 Exhibition Of The Year

Sweden’s best museum is at Liseberg. Faced with tough competition, the Evert Taube World attraction took home the 2009 prize for best exhibition in the FORUM competition ’Exhibit of the year´.

Evert Taube World at Liseberg in Gothenburg is an experience spread over 8 rooms, every one of which gives the visitor a close look at national poet Evert Taube and his artistic talent. It is a world filled with original artwork, music, technology and exciting characters. Evert Taube world opened in 2008 and in its first year, attracted over 100 000 visitors.

Experium Lindvallen 2009

In co-operation with Electrosonic and Mediatec, DAV Partner has been trusted to supply sound and image technology and a 3D cinema to Experium in Lindvallen. This project has been characterised by high demands in respect of interior and design, specifically their ability to enrich the overall experience. Sound and light quality requirements were high while their integration, safety and placing were devised in such a way that they did not conflict with other aspects of interior design. These elements have come together and expressed themselves through the creation of fully controllable environments throughout, where demands in terms of operability and simplicity are prioritised.

Mediatec invests in new remote camera systems.

During the year have we invested in two new remote camera systems, the SONY Z-700 and Sportcams 4 HD from TV Skyline. The cameras have different areas of application and are both High Definition and Standard Definition capable. Setup can be done as stand alone or together with multiple cameras in fibre network. Preset positions are available and the cameras can be operated over long distances both in and outdoors.

The Sportcam 4 has a unique fibre interface over which HD and SD signals, audio, communication, remote data and even 220-voltage power can be sent. This makes it possible to locate the camera up two 2km away from the OB unit and supply everything using just one simple SMPTE fiber cable.

For more information, please visit our webpage under Wireless and Camera Solutions. A downloadable technical specification will soon be available at the product site.

If you are interested in these products or wish to make a reservation, please call +46 8 799 35 00 or contact us at broadcast.se@mediatecgroup.com. Thank you for your interest!
