Mediatec acquires the business of Avedia AG
As of today Mediatec has acquired the business of the Swiss company Avedia AG. The business will be incorporated in the newly established Mediatec Switzerland AG.
Avedia has for the past ten years been in the Swiss market as a provider of technical solutions for broadcast and events. Mediatec’s assignment to produce the Swiss football league for Teleclub will be transferred to Mediatec Switzerland giving a total expected turnover for the company of around 5 MEUR. Mediatec Switzerland has 12 employees and will be offering the full Mediatec product portfolio to its local market. Reto Osterwalder, former CEO of Avedia AG, will be the Managing director of Mediatec Switzerland AG.
