Mediatec produced the VELUX EHF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL4
On the 28th and 29th of May 2011, one of the biggest handball events in the world took place in the Lanxess Arena, in Cologne, Germany.
With an astonishing 22,000 spectators per match, the European Handball Federation and the VELUX EHF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL4 is the highlight of the handball season, seeing the world’s top four men’s teams meet and compete in one venue, over two days to thrash out the champions of the 2010/2011 season.
The very first VELUX EHF FINAL4 took place in May 2010, in the LANXESS arena in Cologne and has already gone down as one of the finest handball events in history. First-class handball matches, special effects, and all round family entertainment make this event so appealing.
This event closes an impressive season in the VELUX EHF Champions League tournament, seeing Mediatec Broadcast producing more than 12 handball-matches from the VELUX EHF Champions League tournament, as well as working in partnership with EHF by producing the last four matches in the tournament, finishing up with the final on the evening of the 29th May, in a sold out arena.
The productions were created with 18 cameras including Spidercam, High-pan, Superslows and wireless cameras. All technical facilities and crew were delivered by Mediatec Broadcast.
