When the quarterfinals of the World Ice Hockey Championships are played on Thursday the 16th of May the Swedish broadcaster TV4 will air their longest live produced broadcast ever.

New Year’s Concert with the Vienna Philharmonic

Imre Sereg from our German office has been working with the New Year Concert in Vienna for 8 years. This year Mediatec Broadcast provided the flag ship unit HD1 for the 11-camera production that was broadcasted to more than 80 countries worldwide. The Gothenburg 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships in full HD

Swedish TV4, who is the host broadcaster of the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2013 in Gothenburg has appointed Mediatec Broadcast as their provider of technical facilities, project management and all crew needed for the productions. The coverage is produced with more than 30 HD cameras and Mediatec Broadcast has 80 skilled TV-professionals working with the project.

Awarded the Nobel Prize?

Mediatec wasn’t awarded the prize itself but the contract to broadcast both the award ceremony from Stockholm Concert Hall and the traditional banquet in the City Hall. As most previous years SVT was the host Broadcaster and Mediatec the technical partner for SVT.
